I'm looking to raise money for my gender transition. Transitions are often very costly things and some financial help would be so fantastic!

So at this point I'm not 100% on what I want. Earlier this year I spent a few hundred pounds on some dermal fillers (to rounden some features of my face) and am looking into getting more done. I got the first lot done because I was just over 18 months on HRT at that point but felt the HRT, like it still is, was dragging it's heels in terms of visual progress. The work of dermal fillers doesn't last forever though. The clinician that did them tells mee they'll last until around summer 2025 - so they'll have had a life span of around 14-15 months or so.

I'd love more permanent roundening of my facial features but the thought of surgery is so scary. When beginning this crowdfunder I have had this worrying hypothetical scenario of making £10K from donations and then flaking out of surgery because I'm scared and can't put myself through it. I went under general anaesthetic to have a tooth out when I was 17 and was absolutely bricking that. But if I raised a seriously high amount then maybe that would be of some encourageement and I'd feel more able to put myself through it - "no pain no gain" as they say.

A few years ago I spent £500 on some laser sessions for hair on my face - of which the effects didn't really last because I didn't properly start HRT until over 2 years later, in August of 2022, and even still my HRT was pretty useless and unworthwhile until early 2024 I've gathered. In a nutshell: my levels were totallydragging their heels for the first year and a half without me knowing. But since spring/summer 2024 I've been having laser sessions done for free on the NHS.

Dermal fillers eel like the most 'reachable' things to me. I'm looking to get my lips and nose done late 2024, so soon-ish.
