Andra & Ben fundraise for Greek Animal Charities

Aim: We’re doing the Goring Gap marathon walk to raise funds for two animal rescue charities helping stray animals in Greece.

We’re doing the Goring Gap marathon walk https://riversideramble.co.uk/charities/  this weekend (18/05)  to raise funds for two animal rescue charities close to our hearts. We found out about them while visiting Greece and trying to rescue neglected kittens that became our loved pets. 

Seeing the work that they do, and the challenges they faced made us realise the magnitude of the problem of strays in Greece, and also the impact that GAR and Vocal have made to the welfare of animals throughout the country. There are close to 3 million strays in Greece, many neglected and abused. Thanks to GAR and Vocal, hundreds of thousands of animals have been neutered, provided with food and vet treatment, and rehomed.

They can only continue to do this work with the help of donors and supporters, and we hope we can contribute to their efforts! Please help us by donating and spreading the word!
