Funding new ambulances in Pakistan with Edhi

Our wonderful father, Amjid Mubeen, left this world and returned to our Lord on 18 Sept 2021. To God we belong and to God we shall return.

In his memory, and as a means of continuing charity for dad, we will be funding the delivery of new ambulances across Pakistan with the renowned Edhi Foundation. 

Each ambulance costs £6,000.

Dad migrated to the UK at the age of 12 and lived here for the rest of his life. But his heart was always attached to Pakistan and he would regularly contribute to charitable causes in his homeland. We often talked about the work of the Edhi Foundation, and dad would always comment how effectively their work was making a real difference in Pakistan. It's difficult to over state the role of organisations like Edhi in places like Pakistan, where people do not have the safety net of the welfare state. Very often, the Edhi ambulance service can quite literally be the difference between life and death. We are in touch directly with the foundation and will continue to monitor the project and provide ongoing support.

We appreciate charity is a very personal endeavour and there are many worthy causes that you all already contribute to. So please don't feel any obligation or in any way see this as a request. We just wanted to extend the invite to contribute if it was something you wanted to support.
