Always Bee You

Always Bee You is a Hertfordshire based charity enabling adults with learning disabilities and mental health conditions to access the opportunities, skills and support they need to live fulfilled lives.

We run a range of activities focussed on helping people to achieve their potential and connecting people together so they can make meaningful friendships, learn new skills and achieve a better wellbeing.

Our training for work opportunities provide learning, purpose and occupation for some of the most disadvantaged groups in our society, including those with additional needs and disabilities and people with mental health conditions.

Always Bee You’s Adults with Learning Disabilities responded to a survey which shows that;

• 75% rarely went out to socialise before Always Bee You

• 100% said Always Bee You had made a good impact on their lives

• 87% said they feel less lonely since joining Always Bee You

• 66% said they have developed friendships at Always Bee You and go out with them outside of club activities

• 100% said they feel happier since joining Always Bee You 

• 91% said activities at Always Bee You such as dancing, singing, yoga and drama made them feel healthier. 

• 100% of participants said they have tried new activities.

• 100% feel more confident since joining

• 41% have learnt skills to help them to volunteer or to find employment

• 41% have learnt money skills with Always Bee You
