- Alvanley Cricket Club are looking to raise £8.500 to replace the old and storm damaged sight screens. Required for the safety of players in all games, boys/girls mens and ladies.
- The club have organised to relay a cricket stump from Lords in London to Alvanley Cricket Club. Members of the club are walking, cycling, canoeing and finishing off with the Sandstone Trail walk back to Alvanley over a period of 6 days.
- Sheila, I and our labrador Moose will be doing the 32 miles of the final stage from Whitchurch to Alvanley on Sunday 20th October
