• The global COVID-19 pandemic has created a very uncertain landscape for  millions of British small businesses.

We are hoping to raise revenues, which are otherwise lost through the mandatory closure of our business back in March.  We took over the hotel in February 2019, a 200 year old sporting lodge, where fishing has been the main focus of visitors to the area.

Whilst fishing is still a huge part of our current trading, we also more recently, have attracted visitors that have taken advantage of The North Coast 500 route and as we are only a short drive away from the main route, its an ideal place to break up your journey.  Situated 16 miles in-land from Tongue we offer the finest food, using only local and seasonal ingredients in our comfortable surroundings with log fires.

We put some investment into the hotel through winter and hoped to continue that through the Spring, but suddenly our season was halted.  We are taking this time to promote the hotel and with your help, allow our cashflow to stabilise.  Insurance companies have denied us on our "Business Interruption" policies and as a seasonal business, operating only March to October, we are now looking towards filling our forward bookings.

Once the "new normal" is operating and we are available to start trading again, the North of Scotland is a wonderful place to visit, whether its just to explore, simply get away from the city or to enjoy a fishing break for Salmon, Sea-Trout or Brown Trout, we would love to welcome you.
