To run 42.2 km (commonly known as a marathon) to raise money for the King's Theatre redevelopment.

Hi there. While I've been in Edinburgh, I've had a lovely little job watching all types of theatre in the lovely King's Theatre. The problem is that the King's isn't as lovely as it once was. There aren't any lifts for people who need it, the bars are in dire need of some tlc, the stage is at an angle which means that dancers always fall off the front of it (ok, that never happened. But that's why we can't have dance shows there).

Anyway, the theatre is going to be renovated to sort out those (and many more) problems. In May I'll be running the marathon to raise a little bit of money towards the very much needed tin of paint, or adaptations to the fly tower.

Some of you will know that I ran the Edinburgh Marathon a year or two ago. I've not set myself a target time, but I'm pretty determined to go faster than I did last time. 3:57 is the magic time.

Thanks all for reading this, and thank you very much for your donations.
