The creative team of All This Must Pass have an amazing opportunity to bring their critically acclaimed show to Edinburgh Fringe 2024. Like most working artists, we balance making a living with creating the work we love. The creative team on this show all work full (sometimes more than full)-time and we are proud to have produced work of this standard without help until now. Following the huge success of our last 2 runs, we have been offered a week long run at Edinburgh Fringe 2024 which we are beyond ecstatic about. But in order to give All This Must Pass the platform and time it deserves we are in urgent need of outside funding. Unfortunately, we have just been turned down for a bursary that would have covered our most essential costs, we now need to source funding urgently to give this show the platform it deserves.
As well as self-funding and bursary applications, we are asking for any support people are willing/able to give. Outside support would mean we could afford our marketing costs, secure proper rehearsal space and hire tech for the show.

A woman embarks on a quest through time, travelling for hundreds of years through distant lands to discover how she came to be. She traces her history through The Salem Witch Trials of Massachusetts, The Potato Famine of Ireland, the cataclysm of World War 1 and events that barely left a scuff on the face of time. She discovers celebrated heroes, despised criminals, defiant women and shattered men - all as the dread of the present day draws ever closer.
This one-woman play explores our connection with the past to better comprehend a reality that seems unfathomable. The woman looks to the ghosts of her ancestors, arming herself with their stories, as she looses the child inside of her. In the UK, 1 in 4 children are lost during pregnancy or birth with many parents never knowing why. They are reassured with recycled phrases such as “it’s just one of those things” or “you can always have another one” without ever truly being given permission to grieve their loss. Moreover, the love a parent feels for someone they have never met is a phenomenon only they can understand.
All This Must Pass tells the story of the invisible forces that make us, love for those we haven't faced, and how we too will one day be ghost in someone else’s story.
