I am doing a sponsored walk from Preston to Morecambe using the canal which is 36 miles in total. I am doing this over 2 days to raise money for St. John’s hospice in memory of my mum Alison McGowan my mum passed away on 15th may 2020. St. John’s hospice was a massive part of her palliative care they supported not only my mum but our whole family. My mum was the local dog warden for 25 years she loved her job and helping anyone with there dogs. She sadly lost her battle with cancer and we wanted to mark her birthday with this walk in her memory and to give something back to St. John’s hospice as they were absolutely amazing. We have got friends and family involved so there will be quite a lot of us doing the walk so we can raise as much money as possible any contribution big or small will be gratefully received. The walk is taking place 17th-18th July the walk is finishing at my mums memorial bench at Morecambe town hall where she worked. Thank you for taking the time to read this and donating.
