AJ Dance Centre is a small recreational dance school based in Falkirk.
We strive for the perfect balance between a high standard of dance, passion and fun. Through a supportive and nurturing teaching style, we pride ourselves on our professionalism and our ability to create an inclusive, exciting and happy environment for all dancers to learn in.
Our Project
Children’s Dance schools have a limited window in which we can operate: after school hours until a child’s bedtime. In order to expand in our offerings of dance, we require an additional studio to increase the number of classes currently on our timetable. An extra studio would also allow us to utilise teacher’s full skill set by introducing a wider variety of classes, eg, the introduction of a drama academy and circus skills.

The Studio
We personally are investing in the project and have ran several fundraising events throughout the summer holidays to raise funds towards the renovation, but unfortunately, renovating a space to become a dance studio comes with high costs, such as specialist floors, audio systems, mirrors, as well as updating the walls and decor.
How your contributions can help:
Expanding our reach: With an additional studio, we can accommodate more students and offer additional dance classes for people of all ages and skill levels. This will allow us to reach even more individuals with the inclusion of more Parent/Toddler and Adult fitness classes as well as increasing pupil retention as they progress through class levels.
Enhancing facilities: The new unit lacks the necessary equipment and facilities to support the growth of our pupils. With your help, we can renovate the studio with proper flooring, mirrors, sound systems and acrobatic equipment, providing an optimal environment for learning and creativity.
Promote other businesses: We are located on the town centre high street. Whilst pupil’s attend our classes their parents/carers spend money within the community at neighbouring coffee shops, cafes, boutiques and beauty salons. The growth of our business will also encourage the growth of neighbouring businesses.
