Aid for Gaza - Ten Thousand

Using connections inside Gaza we hope to fulfil some of the following needs - mainly to the 10,000+ civilians and patients sheltering in the Al-Naser, KhanYunis hospital.

TARGET - £10,000

This is a mere drop in the ocean compared to the devastating need for aid. After meeting with the hospital administration this is the minimum required to provide a reasonable amount of aid to patients, civilians taking refuge in the hospital and volunteer medical staff with the current needs outlined below.

Page target is lower at £3,000 so that we can receive and begin to send funds as soon as we reach this threshold. 

In the hopes of any excess funds this will be used to fulfil as much of the following needs as possible and extend aid to families sheltering inside four school buildings  

CURRENT NEEDS?

1. Food supplies and essentials for the 10,000 civilians: incl baby formula, hygiene products, blankets/sleeping bags  

2. Medical supplies including 20 air mattresses for ICU patients (not enough beds).

3. Hygiene products for patients including incontinence/hygiene pads for the elderly  

4. Cash assistance for medical staff, carrying out life-saving work around the clock without salaries since the violence escalated (over a month). They also have families in danger and need of our support 

- 67 Doctors and nurses 

-60 paramedics (who further risk their lives to reach others) 

WHY?

Thousands of families moved from the north seeking shelter and refuge in this region. The little aid allowed in has not reached these families. 

HOW?

Connections with Palestinian charity staff, and the help of civilian volunteers inside Gaza, who are risking their lives to travel, purchase supplies and deliver them where needed we want to continue providing much needed aid to some of the thousands of families sheltering in this area. 

DELIVERED ALREADY
prior to this fundraiser the following have been delivered  

- baby/infant food and hygiene supplies to 20 families. 
- Food bags for 50 families sheltering in one of the schools.

- Cash assistance for 20 voluntary Doctors and Nurses working at hospital without a salary.
