Aim: Objective: Build a smart, AI-powered assistant accessible via an iPad or kiosk in large retail stores (like Costco, B&Q, clothing chains, )
Hi, I’m Freddie Potter, and I’ve spent years observing how difficult it can be to navigate large retail stores — from DIY warehouses to clothing outlets and megastores like B&Q or Costco. Shoppers waste time searching for products, staff are often overwhelmed, and stores miss opportunities to upsell or improve the experience.
That’s why I created FindRight — an AI-powered in-store assistant that runs on a tablet or kiosk. It allows shoppers to ask, “Where can I find paintbrushes?” or “Do I need anything else with this drill?” and instantly get not just directions but smart recommendations too. It's like having a helpful store expert with you at all times.
Right now, I’m a solo founder (with a few skilled collaborators helping with AI and development), and we’ve already built a working prototype using real product data. It works, and people love the concept.
Our Vision
We believe that physical retail can be just as smart, fast, and helpful as online shopping — and even better when enhanced with AI. Our goal is to roll out FindRight in stores across the UK (and beyond), starting with pilot programs in DIY and hardware chains.
How We’ll Use the Funding
Your support will help us:
Build a polished, scalable version of the app
Integrate voice functionality and advanced recommendation logic
Create durable kiosks for in-store trials
Pilot the product in 1–2 retail locations
Gather real usage feedback and prepare for commercial rollout
This isn’t just about tech — it’s about transforming everyday shopping into something more intuitive, more personal, and a lot less frustrating.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Let’s help people FindRight, every time.
