Who we are

Age UK Milton keynes is a local independent charity supporting older people across Milton Keynes. We've been running since 1978, and provide a range of services and support to improve the wellbeing and quality of life of people aged 55 and over. 

What we do

We provide emotional, practical and advice services and social activities to help people improve later life. This includes befriending, information and advice, footcare, dementia clubs, social prescribing, lunch clubs and handyperson service. Our support helps people stay active, connected, informed and independent in later life. 

Our impact in 23/24

• 6,536 older people supported throughout the year.
• 12,636 hours of befriending
• £1.93 million claimed in benefits by our I&A service
• 16,919 hours of shopping and housework completed
• 8,909 meals delivered to older households
• 513 clients taken home from hospital
• 30,000 calls to our information and support line.
