Aim: The Liverpool CC Falcons Team want to raise the £375 entry fee for the Tape Ball World Cup representing Afghanistan starting 21st July 2025
Who are we?
The LCC Falcons are a group of young men from Afghanistan living in Liverpool who play cricket for Liverpool Cricket Club and had their own team in the Academy North indoor cricket league last winter
Why are we crowdfunding?
They need to raise £375 for the entry fee to represent Afghanistan in the World in One City / Academy North Tape Ball Cricket World Cup taking place in Liverpool between 21st July and 3rd of August 2025. The entry fee covers includes tournament fees, bats , balls and a bespoke kit
UPDATE 17th June 2025 - we no longer need donations to enter the Tape Ball World Cup 🎉. However any further donations made will be put towards the winter league and match fees for the 2025/2026 season
How we’ll spend the money raised
The money will pay the entry costs for the team - any extra money raised will go towards league fees for next winter's indoor league costs for the team
Community impact
Representing Afghanistan in the Tape Ball World Cup being played in Liverpool will be a fantastic experience for this wonderful group
