The Sulha Alliance CIO (registered charity no.1198855) has worked with and for Afghan interpreters and other Locally Engaged Civilians (LECs) for years, both campaigning for their protection through resettlement to the UK from Afghanistan and supporting them building their lives in the UK.
One year on from the fall of Afghanistan, those who supported the UK mission still face critical challenges. A large number of former interpreters and LECs remain in hiding in Afghanistan. Included in their number are those who were told over a year ago (before the fall of the country) that they were eligible for relocation but are still waiting. Family reunifications are also a critical issue, as many former interpreters and LECs left wives and children behind who are now critically endangered.
Please donate to this campaign to help the Sulha Alliance to support former interpreters and LECs in Afghanistan, third countries and the UK; and advocate for improvements to the associated immigration schemes.

The Sulha Alliance is currently entirely staffed by volunteers. Our aspiration is to provide enhanced support to our beneficiaries by hiring professional full time staff.
