My name is John Hoyte. I'm a pilot and for many years I enjoyed a successful career until it was abruptly ended by Aerotoxic Syndrome. I became ill due to my exposure to contaminated air in the cockpit of the aircraft I flew at the time. After I recovered from the illness I began a long campaign to inform the public about the risks and persuade the aircraft designers and manufacturers to work together to make flying safer for everyone.
To date, I've invested £300,000 of my own money in this project but now I need your help. I have self-published books on the risk of air contaminated with from carbon monoxide and organophosphates and I am in contact with many pilots, engineers, and others who are aware of the problem and who can testify to its causes, effects on human health, and, most importantly, how this problem can be solved.
The 2014 fictional film ‘Flight 313: The Conspiracy’ or ‘A Dark Reflection’ which was produced by former injured UK aircrew which explained the design flaw, but also how it will be eventually resolved. I was involved by investing £75,000 in the production and I played a cameo role as an airline CEO – but the point of the film was to raise public awareness and now that the known solutions are available – now would be an excellent time for a journalist to deeply reinvestigate this global public health matter.
Will you help me raise awareness and make flying safer for everyone; air passengers, pilots, and cabin crew?
Main Objectives:
- To earn recognition of a condition that affects pilots, cabin crew, and passengers who have been exposed to toxins found in pressurised cabin air, which originates from jet engine oil (oganic phosphate poisoning) dispersed through the air filter system of the aircraft;
- To establish a generic term as “Aerotoxic Syndrome”;
- To advance the education of the public and promote awareness of Aerotoxic Syndrome;
- The relief of sufferers of Aerotoxic Syndrome and their families by the provision of such advice, information and support as would relieve their need;
- To promote research into the causes, prevention, treatment and cure of Aerotoxic Syndrome and the dissemination of the knowledge thereby acquired; and
- To provide a forum for fellow sufferers to exchange information in an effort to improve individuals health.
