On the 2nd December 2020 we'd raised £0 with 0 supporters in 56 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
My name is Ali, I own Eco Travel Shop, an ATOL protected tour operator based in Edmonton, North London. For 12 years, we have always been part of the community, helping ex pats visit their families in Turkey. Over the years, members of the wider community enjoyed our customer service, buying family holidays all over the Mediterranean. Whilst business is quite, my team is planning for a new future for our business, a future that will make travel accessible and affordable for all inner city communities throughout the country.
There are many new products that we are developing as travel restrictions become clearer and easier, here are some examples:
1. Grassroots football camps in Turkey. Using our relationships with airlines and resorts, we will be offering grass routes football clubs the chance to compete in the sun. This will be affordable for all, with free places available in every group including children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
2. Historical, cultural and religious tours. Turkey and the Middle East are rich in religious history. We plan to work with religious communities, churches, mosques, community centers in the UK and our experienced travel guides to create tours that will educate and raise spirits!
3. Ecological and sustainability experiences. We are crafting packages that will take our customers to some of the world's most important ecological programs where they can not only see, but get involved in projects like saving the breeding grounds of rare turtles. They will spend time on organic farms, learning the value of sustainability at first hand.
Through this Covid period, your investment will be used, not only to keep our valuable services open for our local customers, but we will be able to create the products for the future, working with sports and cultural associations, charities, clubs, schools and universities.
Once the pandemic has eased, our aim is to make sure the most deserving in society have the chance to live their dreams and follow their passion in some of the most beautiful places on earth. Your money will go a long way to making this vision a reality.
