Accessible Vehicle - Broker

Kingswood Community Transport have been in operation since 1984  providing accessible transport for people who cant use public transport maybe due to age, disability or even living in a rural location. We initially started with 2 vehicles helping community groups with there transport needs ( Scout groups, care homes , schools and more )

Then in 1999 we have funding to trial out a dial & ride service within the Bristol & South Gloucestershire area. We initially had two vehicles and now have 20 vehicles from electric cars to 16 seater minibuses. I have been working for KCT for 26 years and have seen our wonderful charity grow and grow into a successful service that everyone relies on. Our Door to door service is a lifeline to so many vulnerable people. For many when we drop them off they wont see anyone else until we see them again the following week. Our service removes barriers so that our members can lead a healthy independent life. 

We run our services purely with the help of our volunteers. Without them we really do not have a service. We are so lucky that we have so many volunteers to help us.
