Acaster Lloyd - Solace Prize Draw

Terms & Conditions

1. Entrants must be aged 18 and over, and must be residents of Great Britain.

2. Entrants can enter this draw either online (see 2.a.) or via the postal method (see 2.b.).

a. To enter online via Crowdfunder.co.uk, please use the options on the right hand-side of the prize draw dashboard. There is no limit on the number of entries per person, and users enter as many times as they like.

b. By law, we are required to offer a free entry route via post. To enter by post, please send a post-card detailing why you think Solace is a good charity to support. Only one postal entry will be made per post-card, and entrants may only submit one postcard. If insufficient postage, the entry will not be counted. Entries must arrive by the 10th of September to be entered into the draw. Entries received after this date will not be entered into the prize draw.

3. Acaster Lloyd are the promoter/organiser of this draw. All prizes were kindly donated by local businesses. All funds raised as part of this prize draw will be donated to the charity, Solace (Charity number: 1082450).

4. This prize draw will go live as of the 3rd of September 2024, and will be closed on the 13th of September 2024. 

5. There are 7 prizes on offer, as detailed on the dashboard of the prize draw. Please note, the prizes are not exchangeable for cash or vouchers. Prizes are allocated on an automatic basis, meaning you will not be able to choose your prize should you win. However, you are allowed to re-gift your prize as a present to someone else should you wish to. Please be aware some of these prizes are based in London and Norfolk, and expenses for travel or other costs incurred will not be covered by the prize draw. 

Prizes are subject to terms and conditions as determined by the company whom donated the prize. Should you have any concerns regarding this, please contact the donating-company for more information. 

6. Acaster Lloyd will receive the names and email addresses of prize draw winners from Crowdfunder. Acaster Lloyd will use this information to contact you and arrange for delivery or collection of your prize. Acaster Lloyd may collect other information from you such as your contact telephone number or your postal address to post or arrange collection of your prize. Your information will be stored securely on Acaster Lloyd’s servers in the UK and EU. Your information will be deleted once you receive your prize. 

All information will be held and processed in line with UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) as supplemented by the UK Data Protection Act 2018.  

You may request for your information to be deleted or corrected at any time. You may also ask for a copy of the information Acaster Lloyd hold about you. Acaster Lloyd will not share your information with any third parties.

7. You are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. We reserve the right to refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
