Abraham & Sarah’s Tent, set up by Rabbi Judith Levitt, is a welcoming inclusive online community for progressive Jews (or those exploring their relationship with Judaism) in the U.K. & around the world to create a sense of community & support one another.
Everyone is welcome, but we especially aim to provide Jewish opportunities for those who cannot access a physical synagogue building, for example those who are housebound, elderly, have covid, are disabled, are neurodivergent, or those who don’t feel they have a place in mainstream Judaism. We welcome those who are LGBTQI+ and anyone wanting more meaning in their Jewish life.
Abraham and Sarah's Tent aims to lead services, adult education, B’nei Mitzvah Tutoring & pastoral care as well as so much more, but we currently don't have any funding stream.
We are raising funds to pay for a Rabbi to lead services for and study sessions throughout the year and for running costs such as zoom
