Abid & Cadjari's Volunteer Trip to South Africa

Aim: To create a meaningful cultural exchange that empowers young people through global learning and community engagement.
Abid and Cadjari, two committed young leaders from Hackney Quest, are fundraising for an incredible opportunity to take part in a two-week volunteer placement in Johannesburg, South Africa, in September 2025. Having been with Hackney Quest for over a decade, both have grown through our youth programmes, developing leadership skills that have shaped them into the inspiring young adults they are today.
This initiative, in partnership with the Daneford Trust, is designed to foster cultural exchange and broaden global awareness. During their time in South Africa, Abid and Cadjari will collaborate with local youth organisations, enhancing their skills, forming lasting international connections, and gaining experience that will enrich their personal and professional growth.
Your donation will directly support the costs of their travel, accommodation, and the essential staffing needed to ensure a meaningful and well-supported experience for them both.
