Abi is swimming from Albania to Corfu!

Aim: I'm swimming 3km from Albania to Corfu to raise money and awareness for the Ionian Environment Foundation.
Last year I swam my first open water event in the River Arun, fundraising for spinal cord charity Aspire and I LOVED it! This year I want to take my swimming into the sea, and I can't think of a better event than Albania Overboard - a 3km swim in the Ionian Sea from Albania to Corfu.
This will be my first sea event and it's fundraising for a wonderful cause - the Ionian Environment Foundation, a conservation charity that strives to preserve the Ionian Islands' exceptional natural beauty, looking after sea grass habitats, marine wildlife, butterfly populations on Corfu and much more.
I'm still very much a beginner swimmer, very slow with a wonky technique, but I love the water. Wish me luck for my adventure in the big blue!
