Aim: Supporting people affected by cancer become more physically active
"5k Your Way" is a support group with a difference. On the last Saturday of every month, 5k Your Way groups meet up at over 90 parkruns around the UK and Ireland. Participants do 4k in their own way, whether that be walking, jogging, running, cheering or volunteering. Everyone tends to go for a coffee and catch up after, creating a really strong sense of connection and community. Absolutely anyone affected by cancer is welcome to be part of 5k Your Way groups. Participants include those living with or beyond cancer, family, friends, those that have lost a loved one to cancer and health care professionals.
Funds raised can help towards t-shirts, hoodies and local 5k Your Way events
