Aberdour Shinty Club is a registered charity working to promote and support the development of shinty in Fife. Offering opportunities to everyone who would like to get involved as a player, coach or volunteer. We support players from age 4 through to seniors both Male and Female.

Aberdour Shinty Club has come a long way in the last 21 years!
From a small team of primary 5 age players to a flourishing club competing in the National League for both women's and mens teams.
The club operates in Fife where shinty is relatively unknown and to keep players involved with so many other sports on offer can be challenging.
The players, supporters, coaches however, love this great game, and it has a real place in the community.
Supporting Aberdour Shinty Club would mean supporting so many young people, girls & women to access the sport of shinty.

Community impact
The benefits of the club owning a bus would also be great to the local community. Local groups, schools and individuals would have access to a shared community resource.

Why are we crowdfunding?
With all the distances covered by numerous teams within the club, one item the club is desperately in need of is a minibus. Especially now with rising fuel prices a bus would be a game changer and would help to solve all sorts of travel logistics and make Shinty far more accessible to all.

How we’ll spend the money raised
The funding raised will be used to purchase a minibus, kit it out, logo it up with club and sponsor branding, service and insure it. The funding will also be used to put some coaches and individuals through the D1 driving assessment allowing them to drive the vehicle.

How you can play your part
There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
