To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Abbeydale and the neighbourhood without distinction and to associate with the inhabitants, local authorities and voluntary organisations to advance education and provide facilities in the interest of social welfare with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants while securing the existing community centre.

Abbeydale Sports and Community Centre is the hub for the residents of the Abbeydale and Abbeymead neighbourhood. It has multiple rooms for hire from a large sports hall to a small meeting room as well as a 3G sports pitch and changing rooms and a lovely modern cafe - the Phoenix Cafe Bar!
The whole place is managed by a charity (Abbeydale Community Association) made up of just a few volunteer trustees, and has a dedicated staff team who run the place brilliantly day to day. It's such fantastic place that most people who visit don't realise it's a charity!
Especially with the current cost of living crisis, all donations to the Centre are very welcome. Every single penny goes back into maintaining and improving the Centre for the good of the community.
