The church’s aims are to promote the advancement of the Christian faith worldwide; to equip people with tools to face the challenges of life so they may be victorious; to be a place where oppressed, the frustrated, the hopeless, the hurting and the destitute can find love, acceptance, help, guidance and encouragement.
To equip its members, the community to assist them to grow up in every way and in all things unto Jesus Christ; to develop its members for ministry by assisting them to recognize the gifts and talents God has given to them ; to develop its members to be committed to the great commandment of loving God and our neighbors and the great commission of seeking and saving people.
The church therefore initiates and organizes internal and international programs to this effect for its members. By so doing, all may by their faith in Jesus, become assets in the community, the nation and the world in general through networking. We are giving emergency food and support to people in crisis in our community and across the city of Milton Keynes. Since 2016 we have been given emergency food supplies to over 250 families and over 200 individuals in crisis.
In order to realise our aim of establishing a more reliable food network we seek to go to ground and operate from a specific base location and connect with more sources and donors to be able to reach an even wider range of beneficiaries.
We are currently accepting items from the general public, supermarkets and shops however only a few of these are reliable donors (food sources) with whom we have been working and distributing food from the back of our car. Also working with us are some partner organisations such as the YMCA, Salvation Army, Moorland Nursery Center, Homeless Bus Shelter. Hedgerows Family Centre, Flower House, Elderly home, Baptist Church, Courtney Lodge elderly center and Coffee hall youth center.
We are supported by several Supermarkets, namely Costco, Tesco, Morrissons, Lidl, Aldi, John Lewis, Fareshare, Foodwise, Neighbouring
We have received a utility Van from Tesco to facilitate our picking and distribution of food within the communities in Milton Keynes.
We currently run two food bank centers and two worship centers as well as food outreach to the needy, 7days a week with 20 volunteers. This program has and is helping us to support in reducing loneliness
You may not be able to participate physically but your support will help others to go on behalf of all
