Samira has been running a rescue shelter for some years now. She and her husband work full time to rescue dogs (and a few goats) from the streets and kill shelters. Until now they have relied on a small group of friends to fund the rescue, currently around 75 dogs, this leaves them short of food for the animals, and themselves on a regular basis.
Yesterday Samira came across an abandoned Mama and her 3 puppies. Mama is skinny and malnourished and needs medical attention. Her babies are full of ticks and need vaccinations.
Samira urgently needs donations to cover basic veterinary care and food. Mama and the pups are still at risk while living on the streets but with extra funds, above those for veterinary care, Samira can bring them into their shelter. They will then care for them until the puppies are old enough to leave their Mama and then they will work to find their forever families in the UK.
