Hi! We’re a group of passionate emerging filmmakers on the MA Film course from the University of the Arts London (UAL), and Death Wish is our graduation film - a bold, darkly funny, and emotionally raw drama about the impossible messiness of family.
The story follows Esther, a young woman navigating a suffocating triangle between her manipulative father and her overprotective brother. Each claims to love her, but both are caught in their own unresolved traumas. The film dives into the subtle violence of everyday interactions: the kind that doesn’t leave bruises, but still wounds deeply. It's intimate, a little surreal, and ultimately painfully true.
We believe this story needs to be told with nuance, visual sensitivity, and care. Your support will help us do just that - covering equipment, set design, locations, post-production, and fair payment for our dedicated cast.
Helps us bring Death Wish to life - as a sharp, cinematic portrait of a family on the edge.
Thank you so much for your support!
