Help Save Peatlands Playgroup – A Lifeline for Local Families

Peatlands Playgroup has been at the heart of our rural community for years, offering a safe, nurturing, and inspiring early years setting for children aged 2 to 5. We are more than just a playgroup—we are a lifeline for families, a first experience of education for many children, and a place where friendships, learning, and confidence grow.

Sadly, we have recently been evicted from our current site and now face the enormous challenge of relocating to a new space. Without urgent support, we risk closing our doors for good—leaving dozens of local families without access to essential childcare and early education.

We have found a possible new location, but it needs vital work to make it safe and compliant, including fencing, equipment, and infrastructure. As a small, not-for-profit charity, we simply don’t have the funds to make this move alone.
