I am a 32-year-old single mother of twins. Life has brought many unexpected challenges, but I’m deeply grateful for my beautiful boys and the strength they give me.
A few years ago, I was living abroad with my then-partner. After discovering I was pregnant, the relationship turned abusive, and I made the difficult decision to return to the UK alone to rebuild my life. After a complicated birth and three months in the hospital, I was provided with temporary housing and recently secured a permanent home.
While I manage our daily needs with limited income from government benefits, larger home essentials are beyond my reach. I have tried saving to fix the floors and buy beds, but unexpected expenses have made it impossible to make lasting progress. Now, I’m asking for help to provide my boys with a safe and comfortable space where they can thrive.
