Together, can we help my dear friend Harry (I've changed his name to protect him) and his family? I've known them for five years and in 2022 I met with them in Turkey. If we can raise £11,915 ( = USD 14,518 or EUR 13,783), a charity in Vancouver and a relative of Harry already living there can help them to move there.
Harry's original message in Farsi is below and I've translated it into English:
Greetings in the name of the Lord of love, Jesus Christ.
My name is Harry, I am Iranian, and five years ago on 18th October 2018, I, along with my wife and our two sons, left Iran for Turkey to protect our lives. After a long time and consecutive interviews, in March 2022 we were accepted by the Turkish police department. However, we are facing so many difficulties: the challenges of daily life; the fear for our lives due to remaining so close to Iran and continuing to do church and evangelistic activities including helping to translate the Bible into my (minority) language; threats by the Iranian government; and the security of our young son who has autism and cannot speak - whilst medical records are available, we unfortunately do not have any proper support in this country in terms of medical services, and our son does not even benefit from education services or have any assistance from the relevant authorities. Therefore we ask you, the international community, to help us out of our problems, help us be transferred to a safe country and help our child to obtain the appropriate medical services and education. This is the plea of a mother and father who to protect our own and our children’s lives fled our homeland and sought asylum in Turkey, but we can see no way out, and every day we see our son getting more and more behind in his education and medical treatment. There is nothing we can do except pray, though prayer brings peace and closeness to the Lord, the softening of our hearts and the love of our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you. Harry.

من حری ملیت ایران که به همراه همسرم و دو فرزند پسر به مدت ۵ سال برای حفظ جانمان در تاریخ ۱۸ اکتبر ۲۰۱۸ کشور ایران را به مقصد ترکیه ترک کردیم و بعد از مدت طولانی و مصاحبه های متوالی در مارچ ۲۰۲۲ از طرف اداره پلیس ترکیه قبولی گرفتیم ولی جدا از تمام مشکلات زندگی و ترس جانمان بخاطر نزدیک بودن به ایران و انجام دادن فعالیتهای کلیسایی و بشارتی و ترجمه کتاب مقدس به زبان گیلکی و تهدیدات از طرف دولت ایران و نهادهای امنیتی فرزند کوچکمان دچار بیماری اتیسم می‌باشد و قادر به صحبت کردن نیست و مدارک پزشکی نیز موجود است و متاسفانه از لحاظ خدمات پزشکی هیچ گونه همکاری مناسب در این کشور نداریم وحتی فرزندمان از خدمات تحصیل و آموزش نیز هیچگونه بهره ایی نمی‌برد و هیچ گونه همکاری و مساعدتی مسئولین مربوطه ندارند و حال از شما جامعه جهانی کمک میخواهیم که جدا از تمام مشکلات و انتقال ما به کشوری امن فرزندمان را برای خدمات پزشکی مناسب و آموزش تحصیل مناسب یاری رسانید این تمنای پدر و مادری هست که برای حفظ جان خود و فرزندانشان از مملکت خود فرار کرده و به کشور ترکیه پناه برده ولی راه به جایی ندارد و هر روز شاهد عقب افتادگی فرزندشان از آموزش و درمان هستند و راهی و کاری جزء دعا نمی‌تواند بکند هرچند دعا باعث آرامش و نزدیکی به خداوند و نرم شدن قلب‌ها و محبت . خداوندمان عیسی مسیح می‌باشد با تشکر از شما. حری
