Having a profound disability in some African countries can be a huge hurdle just to survive. Robina is age 9 lives in a rural village with her grandmother who cares for her. There are very little facilities and no opportunities for them. There is a mission that visits from time to time to give advice to these disabled children in the villages but they are not well funded. Robina lives in a mud house with a straw roof that leaks when it rains - they have less than basic living conditions. She recently developed a liver condition that badly affected her health. We want to raise money to help build a brick house and improve Robina's life. Any spare money will be used to get speech therapy and learning materials to help Robina lead a better life and perhaps learn work skills.
Charles is her keyworker and he checks on Robina to make sure she has enough medication, transport her to the hospital for check ups and support her grandmother. They desperately need a better home to live in and anything you can donate can help that happen. Please give generously. We will update on this page as things progress
