We have applied for an alcohol licence for our dogs' and humans' community centre on Fish Island, Hackney Wick so that we can serve drinks when hosting community events and open a cocktail bar for dogs and humans on certain evenings. We also plan to add brunch cocktails for dogs and humans to our weekend cafe menu.
The bar will be in-keeping with our ethos as a plant based community centre, serving up fresh cocktails and pup-tails with shareable snacks. We also have collaborations with local plant based kitchens in the pipeline, supporting local businesses so that we can provide our community with fresh local food while you drink with us.
We will be hosting community events such as exhibitions, educational seminars and movies nights at the centre, at which we would love to be able to offer you alcoholic beverages to drink on-site.
We will be so grateful for any donation (no matter how small) you can make to this next chapter of our vision for our dogs' and humans' community project at Barkney Wick.
