Aim: Another free book for the Visually-impaired and Hard of Hearing!!! This book has Navilens Accessible QR Codes linking to YouTube videos.
After the great success of the last interactive book, here is “Musical Poems and Pictures of Chorlton-cum-Hardy”. We are raising funds to buy books that appeal to not only the sighted, but visually-impaired and hard of hearing, both children and grown-ups.
Here we have a collection of “Musical Poems and Pictures of Chorlton-cum-Hardy”. The book will appeal to both children and grown-ups, and on each page, we have the words to the songs, original paintings, illustrations and pictures of the scenes, and a Navilens Accessible QR Code.
What’s more, by scanning the Navilens Accessible QR codes, you will be transported from the pages of the book, and can watch and listen to the poems as they burst into song. To accompany the songs are videos with images from the book, and the words of the songs are laid out in karaoke style, for you to sing along. All accessible to visually-impaired and hard of hearing people.
We will be offering the book free to any visually-impaired, or hard of hearing person, young or old in The South Manchester Area.
