Im a British army veteran I served 8 years with the Royal Armed Corps, 1st Royal Tank Regiment, serving in many different countries and worked with the United nations in a peace keeping role which I'm very proud to have done. 

Since leaving the army I've not adjusted to life out side of the establishment I've struggled with everything and with Being diagnosed later in life at 48 with adhd and autism, this was pivotal to understanding as to why I've had a very turbulent life, the decisions I've made and the reason that just now, the pieces of my life's jigsaw are slowly coming together, things started to make sense.

EncourageMe is an innovative mobile application poised to disrupt the burgeoning £500bn+ global mental wellness market. Leveraging advanced Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and robust privacy-by-design principles, EncourageMe delivers highly personalized, AI-driven positive reinforcement. Our vision is to be the ubiquitous digital companion for daily well-being and productivity across all demographics, starting with a strong focus on building user trust and genuinely understanding individual needs.

We are seeking funds to build our secure Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and validate our core technology, positioning EncourageMe for rapid scale from our Scottish base, and aiming for a significant impact on mental wellness worldwide.

Users input their thoughts, feelings, or challenges into a text field.

Our sophisticated NLP algorithm analyzes the text to infer sentiment (positive, negative, neutral) and more nuanced moods (e.g., overwhelmed, anxious, energetic, thoughtful, fatigued).

Based on this analysis and the user's chosen preferred tone (Positive, Direct, Empathetic, Analytical), EncourageMe generates a highly relevant and supportive message.

The system subtly learns user's common topics, providing contextually aware encouragement over time.

5.2. User-Preferred Terms of Address ("Comfort Words")

Users can optionally input a "comfort word" (e.g., "Mate," "Pal," "Babe," "Sir," or their name).

EncourageMe will integrate this term into its messages, making the interaction feel genuinely familiar and personal, fostering a deeper sense of connection and comfort. This is a user-driven feature that builds trust, rather than relying on intrusive behavioral detection.

5.3. Personalized App Backgrounds

Users can select an image from their device's photo library.

This chosen image will be displayed as the background of the app's main interface, allowing for visual personalization and creating a more comfortable, aesthetically pleasing environment tailored to the individual.

This feature enhances the feeling of "My personal space" within the app.

5.4. Military-Grade Security & Private Journaling

The MVP will demonstrate the concept of robust data privacy and security.

A dedicated "Encrypted Journal" section will be accessible via a simulated secondary password prompt, highlighting the commitment to multi-layered encryption for all sensitive entries.
