We are one of a number of Scout Groups based in Edinburgh. Our Group has been offering outdoor and life skill opportunities in the Carrick Knowe area of the city since 1937.

The 88th have been offering young people outdoor adventurous activities and life skills to the young people of the Carrick Knowe area of Edinburgh since 1937.
Over the eight decades we have been running, the Group has had many thousands of young people attend the sessions.
The Group has recently started offering the Duke of Edinburgh scheme for young people and we have a had a number of young people achieve their Bronze, Silver and Gold awards over the past few years.
Our Group should celebrate its 90th birthday in 2027 however our roof is in deaperate need of repair and we need support to complete this work and make it to this major milestone.
