Who are we?
Southampton Amateur Rowing Club is a community-focused club dedicated to promoting rowing for all ages and abilities. We are passionate about the sport and fostering a supportive environment for our members to grow and achieve their goals. Our club has a rich history and continues to build a vibrant rowing community in Southampton. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced rower, everyone is welcome to join us on the water!
Why are we crowdfunding?
We are crowdfunding to raise money for our boat fund, which will allow us to purchase new rowing boats and equipment for the club. As an amateur club, we rely on the support of our community to maintain and improve our facilities, and with rising costs, it's becoming more difficult to keep up with the necessary upkeep. The funds raised will directly contribute to ensuring our rowers have access to high-quality boats, allowing them to train and compete at their best.
How we’ll spend the money raised
The money raised will go towards purchasing new rowing boats and essential equipment, ensuring that our members have the tools they need to succeed. Every donation will help us provide better facilities for our growing membership, making rowing more accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
