Who are we?
Crawley Eagles Cricket Club based in Crawley, West Sussex. It is more than just a cricket club; it is a vital part of our community. We proudly support 10 cricket teams, including men, women, and children.Our club was formed in 1970's. It fosters a love for cricket while providing crucial support for community sports, health, wellbeing, and social cohesion. We bring together individuals from diverse backgrounds, united by their passion for cricket, in a safe and nurturing environment.
Why we are raising money?
We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts to seek your help as our beloved cricket club, a cornerstone of our community, was recently devastated by an arson attack. This tragic incident has shaken us deeply, destroying all club equipment for including the storage container, match and practice cricket equipment for all the 10 teams has been fully destroyed including side screen and pitch covers. We are raising money to replenish all the destroyed equipment including the main storage unit and improvement of practice facilities.
How we’ll spend the money raised
All funds will be utilised towards re-building the storage facility and purchase replacement equipment for all the 10 teams. We assure you that every donation will be utilised with the utmost transparency and accountability, going directly towards rebuilding our club and implementing enhanced security measures to prevent such incidents in the future. Your support at this critical juncture would be a lifeline for our community-based cricket club.
