Who is it for?
The project is targeted towards older people experiencing dementia and individuals who wish to retain some of their memories from the 1960s which extend across cultures.
Reminiscence work is important to help aid memory and generate conversation around our past history. This approach is also known to evoke memories, stimulate mental activity, and improve well-being. The front room project also serve as a community room where people can visit and learn about some of the histories of the 1950s and 60s.
Schools are welcome to visit as part of their learning journey to gain an understanding of how people lived in the 1960s
