Who are we?
We are Victoria Dock Rangers Under 16s playing at the Victoria Dock football pitch
The team has been together since the kids were 6 years old and are now entering their 9th season, 2024 going into 2025
The team was originally assembled from Victoria Dock Primary School students originally using the Primary school pitch when the team started at the Under 7 age group.
Our games kick off usually every other Sunday at 10.30 on the Victoria Dock football pitch and all spectators are welcome to watch, we also have a drinks and cake stall at out home games.
Why are we crowdfunding?
Victoria Dock Rangers Under 16s are solely funded by the parents of the players which includes kits, equipment and payment of winter training facilities. We are fortunate to have one of the parents who sponsors the match kits, this frees up vital funds for the upkeep of the team for the season.
We didn't have home facilities for the 2022 / 2023 season due to a year's pitch maintenence on Victoria Dock carried out by Hull City Council,
This resulted in the team having to hire a pitch for the season which incurred costs that drained the clubs available funds.
Last years fundraiser was a huge success and allowed us to upgrade some training equipment and kit, this contributing to our success in winning our league.
How we’ll spend the money raised
This funds raised here will be used for winter clothing and equipment for the team, the kids are now 15 and 16 years old and regularly need replacement clothing etc as they get older.
The rental of winter training facilities increase every year, funds raised here may go towards pitch rental fees.
