 New stretch target

Who are we?

Formed in 1983, by a few friends searching for a fun, friendly club, Palmers CC has since grown to a club offering 2 League XIs, a Sunday & Midweek XI, Under 10s Soft Ball Cricket and All-Stars & Dynamos Cricket in 2024. We continue to offer cricket to the wider Brighton & Hove community, in an inclusive, sociable, and welcoming environment at our home, Hove Recreation Ground.

Why are we crowdfunding?

We're crowdfunding to celebrate our 40th year as a club here in Sussex, with the dual purpose of replacing, repairing, and maintenance of our equipment and facilities.

How we’ll spend the money raised

We are always looking to improve the experience of our players and supporters, who are at the heart of our club and community. All funds raised will go towards improving facilities, equipment and the overall experience at Palmers that enable us to thrive and continue our community outreach.

We are a club of broad backgrounds, with people from all walks of life and backgrounds being members and/or supporting us. We particularly encourage the involvement of minority groups such as LGBTQ+ and immigrant populations in Brighton & Hove. A massive part of our club is building community and having a good time whilst doing it, with cricket and friendship always being the winners in our eyes, regardless of the result.

How you can play your part

There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.

1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!

2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.

3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
