On the 23rd April 2025 we'd raised £2,061 with 58 supporters in 28 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
There is only 1 Green on Durham County Council and we aim to grow that to 4, then push the Council to deliver for Climate, Nature and People

UK politics is stale. There seems to be no real difference between the mainstream parties, and Reform are dragging the national narrative to the far right. Moving the spotlight away from their greedy super rich backers and placing the blame for all societal problems on the shoulders of vulnerable minorities.
Labour have thrown in the towel. Joining the Reform chorus of blame for immigrants, they have chosen to cut spending on the old and disabled, as well as abandoning any realistic pathway to a low carbon future.
Recent polls by Election Calculus show that Reform could take control of Durham County Council and so we need to ACT NOW! That is because voters are leaving Labour and Conservatives in droves and are instead voting for Reform or Green as a protest.
By standing candidates across the County, greens are stripping votes away from Reform and reducing their chances of election success.
By delivering intensive campaigns to get 4 Councillors elected, we can fight their tyranny in the Council chamber over the next 4 years.
But we need some help from you!
Campaigns are expensive and as yet Elon has failed to fund us! Our campaigns are supported from the grass roots, by normal people, and we need to raise £2,000 to cover costs.
