Axminster Cricket Club Ground is desperately in need of a new ride on mower as our old one is falling apart - literally the wheel fell off!!

Who are we?
Axminster Town Cricket Club are a small team providing youth and adult players with a wonderful location to learn, develop, make great friends and enjoy their cricket journey.
Why are we crowdfunding?
Our trusty Snapper ride on mower is falling apart and not worth repairing. We need to maintain our field all year round and unfortunately it will take over £4000 to buy a new machine.
We just don't have the funds to buy a new machine and would really appreciate some help!
How we’ll spend the money raised
A new mower will be our first purchase but should we be lucky enough to raise more monies, then we would put this towards replacing our scoreboard, which is only partially working.
Community impact
Axminster Town Cricket Club are based at Cloakham Lawn Sports Centre, a registered CIO. We are one of several member clubs dedicated to supporting Cloakham's ethos of education through sport, in the local community.
The photo above shows our annual Millwey Rise FC v Axminster Town Cricket Club fundraising match from August 2023. We have previously raised money for breast cancer and prostate cancer at these matches and had a great time doing so.
How you can play your part
There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!
2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
4. Fundraise for us. If you want to run your own fundraiser – maybe a sponsored activity or similar – use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
