Aim: We're building a new adult futsal team!

Who are we?

Salisbury Rovers has a national and international reputation for player centred practice, so when a group of young players asked to start a new adult futsal team, we wanted to do everything we could to help!

Whatever the age, our philosophy remains the same, the game belongs to the players!

Why are we crowdfunding?

The idea is to give young men the opportunity to expand their futsal skills and develop leadership opportunities by growing a team which can be led by them.

Too often, talented young players leave the game at 16 as there is nowhere for them to go. This is a waste of potential and passion.

Our new adult male futsal team will provide opportunities to continue playing on the players' own terms, while offering a genuine chance to players to 'own' and run their own team.

How we’ll spend the money raised

Donations are required for start up costs including venue hire, equipment and kit!

Community impact

We aim to create a space for young people as they move from youth to adult football/futsal to continue playing in a positive, player led environment.

How you can play your part

There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.

1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!

2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.

3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!

4. Fundraise for us. If you want to run your own fundraiser – maybe a sponsored activity or similar – use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
