Borough of Kirklees Swimming Club Prize Draw

Terms & Conditions

Promoter: The promoter of this prize draw is Borough of Kirklees Swimming Club 2024 BOK Bash Organisers, referred to as "the Promoter" herein. 

Eligibility: This prize draw is open to residents of Great Britain aged 18 years or over (parents.grandparents and carers can help here!).

Entry Period: The prize draw opens on 11th May 2024 and closes at 12 noon on Friday 14th June 2024.

Entry Methods: To enter via this Crowdfunder, select one of the entry-ticket rewards. There is no limit to the number of reward entries.

No purchase is necessary. To enter the draws for free without pledging please send an email to [email protected] or a postcard to BOK 2024 Prize Draw, c/o BOK Swimming Club, 30 Daisy Lea Lane, HD3 3LP, UK. Include your name, address, email address and contact telephone number. Postal entries must be sent on a postcard or on or within a sealed envelope. Entries received on anything other than a postcard or on, or in, an envelope will not be accepted. In the case of multiple entries received in a single envelope or on multiple postcards, only one randomly selected entry will be entered into the promotion. Entries sent by email or post must be received by the closing date and time. Postal entries without correct and sufficient postage paid will be invalid and will not be entered. Personal and hand deliveries will not be accepted. 

Entries with incorrect/insufficient contact details, or from outside the UK, will be not be accepted. 

Prizes: The 9 prizes listed are separate, not a bundle: one prize will be selected at random and one winner drawn per prize (there will be 9 winners); it is luck of the draw as to what prize a winner gets. Winners will be selected at random from all entries received. There are no cash or prize alternatives. Prize values are estimated. All expenses incurred in collecting, sending, claiming, fulfilling or using the prizes ( or any other expenses incurred) are excluded. Prizes can only be issued to UK addresses.

Draw Date: The winners will be drawn at random using a computer selector tool on Saturday 15th June.

Winner Announcement: The winners will be announced on the BOK website (www.bokswimmingclub.co.uk); winners will be notified via email by Friday 21st June 2024.

Publicity: By entering the prize draw, the winners agree to their names being made public on the BOK website and social media platforms.

Data Handling: Entry data will be downloaded from Crowdfunder by the Promoter to facilitate the selection of winners. By entering this draw, all entrants consent to the use of their personal data by the Promoter only for the purposes of the administration of this draw.

General: The Promoter and their immediate families are not eligible to enter. Crowdfunder is not a promoter of this prize draw.

The Promoter may disqualify any entrant whose entry does not comply with these terms and conditions (in Promoter’s sole opinion) or who, in Promoter’s sole determination, has acted in a manner that is fraudulent, dishonest or unjust to other entrants including, without limitation, tampering with the operation of the prize draw, manipulating or rigging entries, hacking, deceiving, cheating or by harassing or threatening other entrants or a representative of Promoter.

By entering into this draw, each entrant consents to these terms and conditions.

Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by English law and any disputes arising out of or in connection with them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
