Help us to keep the festival free for all so that anyone can join an art workshop or watch the entertainment from local artists + bands

We're still collecting donations

On the 19th June 2024 we'd raised £225 with 13 supporters in 42 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

The festival has run for over five years, involving local artists and businesses to fill the whole town with arts and events for one day. A wide range of workshops and performances are put on, which are free for all to attend, but we need to pay the artists and performers for their time and cover essentials costs such as insurance and venue hire. The event is managed by a committee of volunteers who are all passionate about the arts. There are no paid positions in the organisation, so that all money raised goes directly to putting on this fabulous event.

What's on

Whether you love live music, want to try your hand at arts and crafts, or to look for a gift in the craft market the day is full of things to see and do. We can only do this with the kind support of the community. We receive a small amount of funding from a local grant, but there is a small gap in the funds needed.

A main stage will entertain visitors with a programme from local musicians and bands, dance groups and so on. There will be a children's area, food stalls and a craft market where artists will be selling gifts and artworks for you to take home. Poetry, music and art will fill the grounds. It's a great day out for anyone, whether you wish to take part or just watch it all unfold - we'd love to see you there.

WHERE

The main event takes place in Abergavenny castle grounds, with great views to the hills around.
