The Prize
Donated by one of our Trustees, this is your chance to have the Wembley Experience as well as seeing Coldplay for you and a friend on Wed 27 August and help support our Rescue at the same time. We are limiting tickets to only 1000 in the raffle so all entrants will have a good chance of winning
The Cause
Protected Paws Animal Rescue, founded in December 2022 by Kerry Flynn, Robert Ho, supported by Trustee Connie Harper, and Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) Megan Walden and Nicoletta Parvulescu. Operating on a volunteer basis, our charity has rescued over 2000 animals, primarily cats, many of whom require medical treatment before they can be rehomed.
As a no-kill rescue, we ensure that euthanasia is only considered in cases of severe suffering, based on veterinary advice. Our focus is on animals needing medical care, and our dedicated network of foster carers provides safe havens for them while they undergo treatment. All medical costs are covered by the charity, allowing us to offer them a second chance without financial barriers.
We also run a Trap, Neuter, Release (TNR) program, actively rescuing feral cats and giving them a chance to live freely on farms, where they can work as farm animals in a safe, protected environment.
Every penny raised by the charity goes directly to the welfare of the animals—there are no payments to any volunteers or trustees. The average cost to care for a healthy animal in our care is in excess of £600, and for animals with minor medical conditions, such as dental issues or respiratory infections, costs can rise to over £1,200. For serious cases, the expenses can easily reach into the thousands.
To continue our vital work, we are running various raffles with fantastic prizes donated by our supporters including tickets to Cold Play at Wembley Staduim kindly donated by one of our Trustees. The funds raised will help us meet our long-term goal of establishing a non-profit animal hospital, which will offer both essential services for the public and care for the animals we rescue.
Tickets will be transferred to the winner via Ticket Master.
