Wando & his Wanderers

We’re raising funds for Macmillan Cancer following one of our close friends AKA Wando being diagnosed with cancer & he is currently battling this awful disease.

On Saturday 24th July 2021, we plan to walk from Alnmouth to Bamburgh Castle, which is a glorious 19miles & will take us approx 6hrs 40mins. Now, for 4 lads that normally walk to the bar & back, this will be a challenge, but one that doesn’t compare to the challenge Dave is facing at the minute.

A bit about Dave, he’s the half a pint full type of guy & continues to keep a smile on his face even during this time. He loves nothing better than a walk with the dog, spending time with his family & friends, then rounding it off with a cheeky pint. Not forgetting his love for travel & Portuguese wine.

We know so many people are touched by this awful disease & Dave is just another number! But to us, he’s our friend & someone we want to make sure knows he has the backing of us all & we will be right by his side throughout the treatment & his recovery.

We would really appreciate even the smallest donation to support this amazing charity & one that continues to standby so many cancer patients.
