I am a professional concert pianist and piano teacher and am passionate about sharing my love of music with others. I have a special interest in English music but enjoy playing a wide repertoire. I would like to use this important historical 1814 Broadwood Square piano to play music of that period and share this with a wider audience. I will achieve this through online music videos and concerts, by making professional recordings and by taking the piano to concert venues.
Your support will enable me to do the following:
1. £350 - purchase a cover and trolley for the piano so I can take it to concert venues safely.
2. £1000 - regulate the action and carry out minor repairs. While the piano is sounding wonderful already, there are various minor repairs that need to be carried out and it would benefit greatly from having the action regulated. Once this work is completed, the piano will be sounding and playing at its very best!
3. £2000 - record an album.
4. £500 - publicity. This funding will enable me to publicise the album and raise awareness that the instrument is available for me to take to concert venues.
Additional funding... Any additional funding over this amount will enable me to make further recordings and take the piano to venues further afield. All support you are able to give is much appreciated!
