15k Tough Mudder for Phoenix Futures Rae House

Aim: I work at a residential rehab and we are looking to fund the building of a children's play area for when families visit.
I am the 'Recovery Through Nature' Lead in a 'Therapeutic Community' - a residential rehab for people in Recovery from drug and alcohol problems. This means that my role has a lot of responsibility for the things that happen outside. I am therefore involved in building a lot of projects with the community members, such as a polytunnel, a greenhouse and a log cabin. For my next project I would like to build a children's play area.
This would benefit us in many ways. Firstly, the community members will help to design and build the project, so this gives them an enormous sense of achievement and boosts their self-esteem. Secondly, there is somewhere that the community members can play with their children outside when they visit.
Consequently I am asking you to sponsor me when I complete a 15k 'Tough Mudder Challenge' on the 7th of June. Tough Mudder is a series of endurance events featuring obstacle courses designed to test physical strength, mental grit, and teamwork. I am undertaking to complete the more intense 15 kilometre version complete with 20 various obstacles, including 'Hero Walls', 'Cage Crawls', "The Block Ness Monster', 'The Mudderhorn' and 'Electroshock Therapy'.
